Because every call is paid human labor. A live agent costs the service ~$0.40–$0.90/min of their time, plus overhead. They have to charge $0.85–$1.50/min to make margin. ReplyQuik’s marginal cost per call is roughly the cost of the LLM call + TTS audio (a few cents), which is why we can charge $99/mo regardless of volume.

Most won’t notice in the first 30 seconds. Some figure it out and don’t care because the booking happens cleanly. A small number prefer human contact and will say "let me speak to a person" — when that happens, ReplyQuik warm-transfers to your phone or takes a message with the full context.
